Hands down my favorite show as of right now. I'm the kind of guy whose late on getting with stuff. I didn't start a facebook until up about a year ago, and I didn't know anything about smosh and =3 until maybe a month ago. Well, the trend countines with Death Note. The show ended about 07, but the synopsis is too amazing to miss.

Light Yagami, an extremely smart high schooler is given a notebook. Unfortunately, this notebook changes his life forever. See, the notebook given to Light by a death god (shinigami) can kill people by writing their name in it. Light thinks that he can create a better world by killing off all of the world's criminals and evil-doers. The local and national government just can't allow this extreme way of killing people by riteous justice, so they aim to stop Light. However, Light refuses to be caught, and the series chronicles the cat-and-mouse game of who will be caught first; the all-powerful, merciless, hopeful-yet-too-smart-for-his-own-good-anti-hero, Light, or L, the investigator looking for him.

Gets you wondering though, if you were given a book that could kill people, would you use it?
